Pop-art influenced Giclee print on fine art paper in a limited edition of 50 in each size.
Before it was divided into a multi-cinema complex, The Odeon on New Street was the largest music venue in Birmingham. It originally opened in 1937 as the Paramount Theatre, and during the 60s, 70s and 80s saw concert appearances from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones... and pretty much everyone else!
One of a series of art prints celebrating the legendary music venues of Birmingham.
Each print is signed by the artist Dave Twist, himself a veteran of Birmingham's 1970s music scene. His favourite shows at The Odeon include The Patti Smith Group in 1976 and two shows in the 80s (that almost turned into riots!) from The Cramps and The Beastie Boys/Run DMC.
Available in two sizes and shipped in a protective card tube, this print is unframed.
